In front of a cafe, sipping on a hot drink, you may see Cyril, pen in hand and scribbling notes. Unlike the last time you might have seen Cyril, he looks... put together. Probably moreso than he has in a while. His hair is the obnoxious 'trimmed but I'm wearing it messy anyway', face clean shaven, and his eyes seem to be a rather intense blue. But, most bizarrely, he's dressed in ancient Babylonian-esque clothes, dyed brilliant blues and purple.

If looked at closer, he's leaving small scorch marks on his cup and pen. Occasionally he will look up from his notes and look around, as if he's nervous or waiting for something. Maybe it's you! It's probably not you, but you should bother him anyway, he probably hasn't seen anyone in months.

Hnmm... You give off a feeling. Like someone of authority.

He balks a little at that. Cyril blinks slowly at you, clearly unsure of how to take that.

"I... dunno if I should preen that I've 'parently still got it, or a lil' fuckin' spooked that ya picked up on it."

*she giggles a bit, putting down the pen*

Sorry. It's something I'm actually a little more aware of, that I can "pick up" on it. You shouldn't think too much of it.

I just figured it might be a better route of "interesting" than anything else I could pick out.

"Honestly, it's kinda a weight off my shoulders. 's hard ta keep it under wraps fer a while, y'know? Took e'rythin' I 'ad ta keep yer coffee iced." He laughs.

"'onestly, I ain't exactly doin' a good job of keepin' the other aspects 'idden, I think an adept kindergartner would be able ta see 'oh, 'e's got fire.' As fer authority, uh. Not so much anymore."

The feeling of "authority" never leaves a person. It's... ingrained, even if someone tries to act like a pauper instead of a prince.

*picks up her ice coffee, nodding in thanks, and taking a sip*

The fire, though? Of course, yes. That's a little obvious, just maybe. Do you usually have trouble controlling it?

"Yeah, I guess? It's been... a long time since I've been anything but Cyril 'round 'ere."

He frowns at that last bit.

"Not usually. 'ell, I ain't been able ta use the fire for a bit, 'less I got really angry."

*... smirks a little, but it's more like she's joking around*

Did I make you lose control, perhaps?

He snorts, but isn't outright dismissing it.

"That an' an ol' friend made me realize that I missed bein' a person o' authority."

[crystaline]

Ah, so a combination of circumstances. Well, at least I can sleep easy tonight that I'm not the cause of sudden combustion, right?

I know of someone else, who uses fire. But he's a lot more... fine, in it.

"Ain't gonna be anything super big. Jus' mostly inanimate objects I'm touchin' right now."

He stops at that.

"On a smaller scale ya mean? ...'s Souha? 'e's the only other pyro I know of."

[crystaline]

His name isn't Souha, no.

This one uses flames like they were threads, to him. He's very skilled.

But he also has the same... Sense of authority, that you do, in a way. *sipping her coffee* Not the exact same though.

"Prolly less rough 'round the edges." He hrms, taking a huge swig of the coffee.

*she laughs a little*

You are rather rough, I have to admit. But I think that's fine, too.

"Ya gotta be aware o' yer faults." He laughs.

"Ya'd be surprised 'oo ain't okay with me bein' rough. Now, I ain't 'xactly got a good sense fer pickin' up anyone else's weirdness, but. Ya got anythin' else other than jus' pickin' it up off me?"

Oh, are we switching the topic to me, now?

"I mean, there really ain't much 'bout me. I was a person o' authority, now I ain't. I got fire, an' I'm a lil' rough." Another laugh and 'uge swig of coffee.

"I'm a lil' curious 'bout the woman 'oo 'ccepted an invitation ta coffee from a weird dude."

Hnmm... Isn't a girl allowed to find someone interesting? *sippps*

Well, let's go down the line.

I've been an ice skater since a very young age.

I'm an Action Duelist, and have been working at it since it's public start.

I play Crystrons.

I went to a fairly nice preparatory school for dueling, but not Duel Academia.

And I have ice.

"Only since the public start? Ain't been that long... yer pretty fuckin' good at it." He opens his mouth. Not been very open about WHAT he was an authority figure of. Or anything besides maybe a bossman of some sort.

"Do ya mean ya got ice like I got fire?"

Possibly. I think fire might encompass you more than ice encompasses me, just as a guess.

But I can create ice. I use it to my advantage.

He nods, girl's astute. ... maybe scarily so. But those are thoughts to chew on later, or never.

"Now I'm jus' wonderin' why ya jus' dun skate e'rywhere ya go."

[crystaline]

I'm an entertainer. If I'm going to use something to my advantage, then I should save it for when I have an audience.

... Besides, it's been summer out. Not exactly the best conditions for skating everywhere when it's not necessary.

[azuremagma]

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense. No sense in lettin' people know yer e'ry advantage. Also, at least fall's startin', an' it's gonna be nice from 'ere on out."

[crystaline]

Thankfully. I certainly decided to come at a good time, here. Perhaps it's fate.

"Ah, maybe." He pauses, seemingly chewing on what he's going to say next.
