Okay which of ya idiots 'round here was tapping into the Azure Flames? That stuff's not meant for any sorcerer or whatever ta go mucking 'round in. 's real dangerous stuff fer literally e'ryone who ain't me. People've tried and probably blown themselves up while I was takin' my nearly dying nap. I'm 'ere ta make sure ya city ain't on fire and maybe help put down whatever idiot's tryin' ta tap inta it.

It's late morning. The sun is shining, and there is a man on foot in Domino, cursing 'damned brats' and 'I left my bike in an intentionally safe place with boring people'. He's maybe investigating screams somewhere, that sound like a man being thrown through the sky. Or maybe he's just lost. The city got bigger and weirder since the last time he was here.

Oh there's been a lot happening, and I wouldn't be surprised if all the new stuff is half due to the weirder incident that's been happening that we haven't been able to nail down, or because Noriko or Kouji (who's mayor now, by the way) or whatever other faction is doing a whole lot of rapid development.

Half does feel like it's jus', y'know, regular development, but regular development shouldn't throw me off THIS bad. So, yeah, I'm gonna blame yer new big eldritch tower and the huge flows o' magic.

Yeah the Tower thing's a mess all on it's own. It doesn't help that until it was all handled, apparently it was. Age restricted on if you could even approach it??

Doesn't help that regulation is a joke right now. The country's government's in constant collapse, and I feel like every couple of weeks I see news about someone having to step down due to various problems. So it feels like everyone's going nuts trying to get as much done as possible while anyone higher up can't say "no".

Juudai seems pretty content doing things his own way through SAI, and SAI has had their hands completely full since, well.

After that whole Fae Tower business, we suddenly got a surge of lost or displaced spirits and monsters, so they've been handling everything about that part of this mess.

As for my cousins? You'd have to talk to whoever currently has the authority for that.

Uuuuugh, helping the world through SAI is noble, but uuuuuugh tha's kinda boring and a huge waste! But also, I guess refugees do need 'elp, an' that's like. A super good 'n important thing ta do.
