Sullivan, my roommate thinks you're doing this yourself somehow and this isn't like a usual psychic phenomenon that I've seen. So, it comes back to the possession, yeah?

I'm wondering if... the possession left ya with all this knowledge that Scythe would've had about spirits and it's sort of a... last ditch effort to help his race...?

... I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I want to, right now, but understand that this is a lot to take in. I'm actually afraid of getting it right and proving that this is real.

The question is though, how would this have helped them? I don't know anything about the situation of the Barians-- or at least I don't think I know anything.

There's... I guess broken Barians on their island? Maybe, with a few more tweaks, your machine... could help the guy who's tending to them? Scythe also... helped Failnaught tend to their comrades who were broken.

As a question... do you think it was fate or chance, that I ended up finding that scythe that caused the possession?

Honestly?

We could debate fate and chance until we're blue in the face. I ascribe to chance, personally. But it's already done. Nothing will come of questioning why it happened just what to do with it now that it's happened.

I gathered on the "not human" part when possession and strange mechanical weapons became a factor, yes.

... I want to at least make it clear, I have nothing against the Barians. I'm just overwhelmed by the idea that my problem is connected to one of their own. And that I apparently look so much like that one, that they keep staring at me.
