EVENT:

You can find Cyril at the Flamvell Bar and Grill, surrounded by empty liquor bottles. Geo has long stopped serving him and he just has his head down at the bar, giving a death stare to any who get close. OR you can find him in the park, in about the same state, but there's cigarette butts all around him here and he's more or less sober. Still a ball of hate and misery.

"Yeah, well, sometimes ya gotta suck it up an' realize ya can't fix e'rythin'. But I'm thankful fer the 'elp."

Well... it's no problem for that.

Still, unm. I'll leave you to your brooding. Just please remember to clean up, okay? I don't want to end up having to get angry at you over it.

"I ain't gonna piss ya off."

He pauses, considering the air, then shakes his head.

"If ya, uh. Ain't doin' anything, I think I'd 'ppreciate some company."

... Well... I'll have to go to work in a while... But I guess I can stick around until then, if you don't mind me doing so.

"Yeah, I think bein' alone ain't the best thin' fer me right now. Ya work at that shop, right?"

Oh, uh... If you mean "Labirinto", yes. I take care of the greenhouse, there. I even try to grow my own plants to help with problems customers might have.

*the question is what kind of problems.*

"Do people still get problems from that place?"

Hnmm... no, not really recent? We've taken a lot of precautions against customers using the wrong things without any clearance.

"That's good! I'm glad that it's, ah... workin' out fer ya."

Well, I'd kinda hope it's working out for me. It's basically my home.

"Oh, uh, nice! Do ya jus' 'ang out with yer plants?"

Well... much of the time, at least. I like to come here, so I can check on the plants, too. Make sure the park didn't get ripped up, again.

I also see some friends of mine, sometimes. ... But I'm usually pretty busy.

"Really? Maybe ya should take a load off sometimes. Uh, metaphorically stop an' smell the flowers."

I like being busy, actually.

It helps my... Father, basically, and it lets me feel like I'm assisting others, especially in this type of town. *it helps me feel better asserted about my own existence.*

"Yeah, I getcha on that. If I ain't doin' anythin', it feels like I'm waitin' 'round fer something that ain't ever gonna 'appen." He takes in a deep breath, then slumps over as he shakily lights another cigarette.

... I guess I can understand that position, too.

It took me a while to accept that something specific wasn't going to happen. I mean, I'm happy now, at least. But it wasn't fun to really work through.

"Yeah. Do ya got any secrets yer willin' ta share? Fer workin' through all o' that?"

... I guess throwing myself into helping the shop really did help, with that. I found something to focus on.

... I also found someone to care about, but... I don't get to see them that much, anymore.

"I guess I'll try an' 'elp with the special inv people 'gain. An..."

Ugh fuck why of course there's someone

"Sorry ta 'ear that. Sure they've jus'... got a whole bunch goin' on."

*technically, all she said is she has someone to care about. you shouldn't assume what a relationship is like.*

I know specifically why they can't be around. They have to be at home to help take care of their mother. They come around sometimes, but it's mostly due to some work they're offered.

*... also she keeps referring to them with neutral gender terms.*

"Oh, yeah. That's... kinda 'ard. Uh, 'oo is it? Maybe I know 'em?"

Oh, ah... Their name is Shiei. Samasu, Shiei.

"Oh." A much longer pause as he sucks in the rest of his cigarette.

"...I like Shiei. Hells, I like all o' the Samasu's I've met."

... I guess they're a pretty nice family. *she sighs a bit*

Though I guess my experience with them isn't exactly the best, but on the other hand, I only really know two of them.
