Okay which of ya idiots 'round here was tapping into the Azure Flames? That stuff's not meant for any sorcerer or whatever ta go mucking 'round in. 's real dangerous stuff fer literally e'ryone who ain't me. People've tried and probably blown themselves up while I was takin' my nearly dying nap. I'm 'ere ta make sure ya city ain't on fire and maybe help put down whatever idiot's tryin' ta tap inta it.

It's late morning. The sun is shining, and there is a man on foot in Domino, cursing 'damned brats' and 'I left my bike in an intentionally safe place with boring people'. He's maybe investigating screams somewhere, that sound like a man being thrown through the sky. Or maybe he's just lost. The city got bigger and weirder since the last time he was here.

Cyril bursts out laughing at that, giving a glance up to where the voice came from and gives a big thumbs up.

"Oh, I dun give a shit why, honestly. Good ears on the kid, but 'e could be way less impulsive."

*you can sense the FUMING, no wonder Trena latches onto him all the time*

I think he's been a little on-edge really! His Dragon went and outed him or something? I didn't get to see it, I was comatose in the hospital. Normal stuff. *that's not normal.* But it's one of his obligations to keep an eye on me due to that.

"Ugh, the dragons all suck, 'cept one. So I can't blame the kid fer bein' on edge constantly. Ya'd think there was more things he could do..." A pause.

"Yeah, I've been beat up an' missed important stuff ta, so, yeah. Normal stuff. But, if I was the kid, I'd be keepin' an eye on ya, an' scouting 'round ta make sure those markings wouldn't work anymore. Ya could do both, couldn't ya?"

Oh, he's already done that, actually!

See, he already knows where all of the major markings were, and got rid of them after they did their "job" as it were. The markings I'm concerned about are more random ones-- used for feeding, if you will.

He makes such a face when feeding is brought up.

"Ugh, that... yeah, I'll definitely keep an eye out for those, Tarou."

Wonderful! I really appreciate it. Of course, I'll still be looking, myself. I can't ignore my obligations or anything like that.

You know what, yes, that is exactly something that my type likes. I'm always up for listening about ancient cities.

Actually not quite the thing I expected to be brought up, really! But I appreciate it all the same.

It's definitely always useful to have-- history in general is something that's especially fascinating to me, since some things might not line up at all with what I've found out before!

Also, one moment. *he. forces his arm down from the shielding he's been doing over his eyes, like his body had stiffened up on him.* Need to stop staying still so long, I guess!

Oh yes, I'm fine! My body's just a bit-- well, I suffered a lot of injuries in the past that have ultimately been starting to catch up with me. Can't move as well as I could before. *he says it more like a mild bother than anything else.*

... I also assure you that as far as the doctors have proven, I'm very much alive. Just a lot of cracks and fractures that shouldn't have mended.

Cyril has a very specific face for the undead and sorcerers using weird homunculi bodies.

"Tha's good. Maybe ya should like... move more? Maybe take up joggin' or something? Hell, yoga even. Align yer chakras an' all that."

Oh yes, yes, my physical therapy taught me a lot, I just... Well, I get so engrossed in things, next thing I know, it's 36 hours later. It happens!

*at least I'm not using a homunculi body! as far as you know!*

"I suggest timers so yer body doesn't do, uh. What it just did. I didn't like that, so I bet it's even worse when a 'uman sees stuff like it."

I will scream, I will just scream forever and burn this stupid city down.

I mean, I think it's better than what I was dealing with before, but I guess the problems are going to just keep getting worse with that...

*he mutters a little, thinking*

"Ya also 'aven't, um... moved ta much this 'ole time we've been talkin'? If yer body's, uh. Injured, I'd really work on gettin' yerself moving a lil' more so ya don't, uh. Get stuck shielding yer eyes or like... stuck not really movin'."

Oh, right. Yes, of course.

*he takes a moment to try to move his legs, and it definitely makes loud cracks*

Okay, maybe that was pretty bad. The hot weather's just making it worse really, it not usually so noticeable.

Honestly, one of the few downsides to everything since... wow, it's been a year and a half now...

Cyril stares, at least prepared for that, but winces a little anyway.

I mean, it wasn't all bad! I could do a lot of things I wouldn't have been able to do before, and I got a pretty good run out of it!

But, uh... I should probably think about something to help supplement myself. I guess follow up with a few things. Do yoga, I guess.
