Okay which of ya idiots 'round here was tapping into the Azure Flames? That stuff's not meant for any sorcerer or whatever ta go mucking 'round in. 's real dangerous stuff fer literally e'ryone who ain't me. People've tried and probably blown themselves up while I was takin' my nearly dying nap. I'm 'ere ta make sure ya city ain't on fire and maybe help put down whatever idiot's tryin' ta tap inta it.

It's late morning. The sun is shining, and there is a man on foot in Domino, cursing 'damned brats' and 'I left my bike in an intentionally safe place with boring people'. He's maybe investigating screams somewhere, that sound like a man being thrown through the sky. Or maybe he's just lost. The city got bigger and weirder since the last time he was here.

Domino's functionally inside the 'first dimension' might be a part of it, but we have four or five parties all running their own schemes, it looks.
So definitely more than usual.

1. We have an ongoing case involving crystals that turn people into Ritual Monsters.
2. The Tengu seem to be on the march, having stolen crystals from Leo Corp, as well as traces of activity on Duel Academy Island, but they directly approached the Supreme King and his wife, requesting the journals of Fujiwara Yusuke.
3. We've encountered monsters corrupted or arriving from The Deepest Abyss, The Sea of Chaos, organs wrong or missing, clockwork components. Speculation is an invasion by one of the nightmares that exist in that ... realm.
4. A rogue member of Leo Corp's Top Team, who has become an Illusion Witch, of her own admission, indicating some relation to the renegade Illusion/Dream user, "Bohr the Founding Alchemist".
She has a magic charged helmet to rewrite people to be witches like her, and is in possession of a Number monster that doesn't exist.
5. People from another world or the future, who seem to be after an alternate or future version of Noriko.

1. That one feels the most normal of all of these.
2. Yeah, I 'eard 'bout the Tengu. Fuck 'em. I hate 'em so much, more than usual fae shit. Exterminate with extreme prejudice.
3. ... Also not great! Those things're weak ta fire, usually. Add in a dash of some cleansin' rituals, an' ya can at least purify the areas they corrupt. Fuckin' Vast entities. Only one good thing ever came outta that place.
4. I'm not gettin' involved with Dream magic shit, sorry. There's a reason we 'gently discouraged' the use back in the day. That sounds on par with alot of the old shit, mixed with Vast shit, and the solution there is the same as the solution with the Tengu.
