In front of a cafe, sipping on a hot drink, you may see Cyril, pen in hand and scribbling notes. Unlike the last time you might have seen Cyril, he looks... put together. Probably moreso than he has in a while. His hair is the obnoxious 'trimmed but I'm wearing it messy anyway', face clean shaven, and his eyes seem to be a rather intense blue. But, most bizarrely, he's dressed in ancient Babylonian-esque clothes, dyed brilliant blues and purple.

If looked at closer, he's leaving small scorch marks on his cup and pen. Occasionally he will look up from his notes and look around, as if he's nervous or waiting for something. Maybe it's you! It's probably not you, but you should bother him anyway, he probably hasn't seen anyone in months.

"I mean, I'm tryin' not ta. Squander it, I mean. I've got a plan, we'll see 'ow it pans out over the next... decade."

"Ah, I wouldn't 'spect there ta be any commitments, 'cept maybe ta dinner sometime later." He laughs, much more relaxed now that he's gotten the full story out there.

A decade sounds reasonable, to me. *finishes her coffee, giving a little sigh*

I think dinner sometime sounds nice.

"Actually, after the last few days of jus'... bein' 'round 'ere, talkin' ta people? I've 'ad more luck making shit than I did with months of walkin' 'round, starin' sadly."

... Maybe bein' here is good f'ya.

"'alf of it is Ennie, I'm gonna admit. The other 'alf is this, yeah."

He pauses, tapping his cigarette out.

"'s jus' kinda refreshin', honestly. Dun gotta worry 'bout jus' missin' someone, dun gotta worry about 'oh she's married Cyril stop having this weird identity crisis you idiot.'"

"...'m beginnin' ta remember that, yeah. Now that the las' bit o' nonsense is done an' I'm over it, 's real good fer me."

"Really? Most people dun wanna think that long, 'cept people like me."

He grins at that, downing the rest of his coffee.

"A buddy o' mine owns a place 'ere, ain't ta far from down town. Mostly 'merican food, but there's a bit o' e'rythin' on the menu."

American food is fine with me, honestly. I'm not a picky girl.

Long as it's not bad, of course.

"It's a pretty good place, 'slong as it's still bein' run by the same folks. Thursday?"

[crystaline]

Thursday. I'm good with Thursday.

"...Endiku. My first friend. Lured her out of the wilderness with a scrap. God, we did some stupid shit together..."

"'uge woman, fantastic chest, muscled as fuck, 'as a son 'round 'ere apparently? Anyway, I think the biggest thing we did was kill that forest guardian, Humbaba, so we... hm."
