Cyril is sitting at a defunct bus stop (day), a park (day), or on the docks (night) in his full form and regalia. To be honest? He looks like shit. Hair is a mess and he's grown out a penance beard that makes him look like a crazy homeless man dressed in Babylonian garb. He mashes buttons on a tablet, muttering to himself as he types. 'Hey nerds, I'm ba-no, that sounds like I dun like this place. Tread the line carefully...' or 'Fuck, I'm sorry I fucked us up, that last duel ya did was pretty fuckin' balls, but I know you can do b-Ugh, fuck that, jus' ain't gonna talk ta 'er.' or! 'Down but never out, the badd-agh, fuck, I am out though. Fire fades an' that 'appy shit...'

Now that her dueling is temporally done, a pretty girl notices you at the park, Cyril.

She's giving you a look. since you do look like a mess. but you're dressed in Babylonian garb.*

"'srude ta stare, y'know."

Sorry. You present yourself in a very stare-worthy manner.

"Is it the penance beard or the anachronistic clothes? 'Cause these ain't... usual fer me." He manages a small laugh.

"I'm Cyril. Dun think I've, uh. Met ya before. Think I'd remember ya."

Oh, they're not? What a shame, it's a very unusual style. ... Mm, I'd hope we haven't, at least. *taps a finger on her cheek*

You can call me "Escher" if you'd like. Anything is fine with that. Escher. Escher-chan. Escha. Things of that nature.

"Mm, may keep the clothes. A beard don't really suit me." He tilts his head, considering.

"Escher, then. What're ya doin' in Domino?"

Oh, you don't recognize my name at all? Sad. *she brushes that off, though*

I'm in the Action Dueling tournament.

[azuremagma]

"Ah, I've been 'way fer... quite some time. Sorry 'bout that." He sighs, standing up and stretching.

"...'nother tourny goin' on? Shit. Guess I've been a bit longer than I wanted ta be."

[crystaline]

This is the dueling mecca of the world. Of course there'd be at least one tournament going on at any time. This one's new, though.

"An' I always seem ta miss 'em. Ah, prolly fer the best. Ya winnin' at least?"

[crystaline]

Hnmm... I've had my successes. But it's not to be.

*she shrugs a bit*

My aim was to gain attention, though. Too bad that you missed it all.

"Ah, well. I can always try ta catch up on it all on the net. People usually archive that kinda stuff these days, right?"

[crystaline]

Usually, yes. This is the first tournament of it's kind. I'm sure videos and information abound of it and the displays that occurred. Including mine.

"Once I get set back up, I'll be sure an' watch 'em. Maybe talk ta ya without the beard or the weird clothes."

[crystaline]

... You can keep the weird clothes, if you want to.

*it's funny that ANYONE likes those things.*

"...Really? I mean, they're unique 'round 'ere, but they ain't 'zactly in vogue."

He seems... pretty confused by this.

I like unique.

Though I guess it's up to you. You would stand out a little less in a crowd if you dressed more "normal".

[azuremagma]

"Hm. Maybe it's time I started callin' attention back ta myself." He grins widely. Man, he looks like ten miles of bad road and you're still complimenting him.

"Gimme two days ta shave up and pull up outta the funk of bein' on the road fer a bit. Coffee then?"

[crystaline]

That sounds fine with me. I'll be sticking around for quite a while.

He laughs again, this time it sounds spirited. There's almost a crackle in the back of it though, like roaring flames as his eyes seem to light up as he starts walking away.

"Two days then, Escher!"
